Located at the Tatnall School - Wilmington Delaware - Minecraft Design and Video Game Design Camp
This summer 2016 is sure going to be an exciting one, especially for those campers who will be creating their very own video game.
Video Game Design Camp (Grades 4-12)
This Tatnall summer camp will run from:
July 25th to August 5th: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Delaware Summer Camps
For two full weeks, campers will learn the ins and outs of how video games are made. The camps focus on game design and graphic arts using Adobe Flash, Adobe Photoshop and HTML 5 authoring tools. At the end of the program, campers will bring home their very own 2D platform games that can be played on any computer.
We will provide introduction, intermediate and advanced instruction so campers with prior experience, or who have attended this camp in the past, can jump right in and start making games.
This camp is designed for motivated campers with 60 percent of the day spent in a classroom (does not require software coding). The day includes lectures/labs, recreation and swimming (two periods) and time for playing Smash Bros. and Minecraft!

Minecraft: Adventure Design
(Grades 4-12)
Minecraft Camps will run:
July 11th to 22nd: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Using Minecraft, the world's most popular video game, campers will learn how to design 3D video game adventures. This camp focuses primarily on game design, installing mods and using Redstone to create adventure maps. Advanced campers may also work on setting up and managing local Minecraft servers. This camp does not require software coding. This day includes lectures/labs, recreation and swimming (two periods) and time for playing Smash Bros. and Minecraft. Delaware Summer Camps.
